Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform all tasks in the Shipping department, as required, to ensure timely packaging and shipping of product to the customer.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
Packages customer orders, per sales order instructions and procedures, using electronic packaging equipment and/or manually. Utilizes computer generated reports when prioritizing work
load. Accurately records work to ensure that proper data is entered into computer.Pulls parts from stock locations. Generates packaging/shipping labels. Assists in cycle counting. Performs departmental housekeeping and follows safety regulations.

The pay scale for this position ranges from $18.00-$29.86 per hour

OTHER COMPETENCIES:
Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of four (4) years experience working in a fast-paced shipping
department; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk
or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms and kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
