Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to manage project cost assessments, analyze plans and specifications, and develop accurate, competitive bids. This role requires technical expertise, financial acumen, and strong communication skills to ensure precise project forecasting and budgeting.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed estimates for HVAC projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
· Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements.
· Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses for accurate pricing.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
· Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities to optimize project budgets.
· Utilize estimation software, Excel, and CAD/BIM tools for efficient and precise estimates.
· Communicate clearly with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to refine proposals.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in HVAC estimating Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and labor costs Proficiency in estimation software, spreadsheets (Excel), and BIM/CAD tools Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Skills:
Experience with piping or sheet metal takeoffs Familiarity with foundation work Background in HCAI or Aerospace mechanical projects
