Position: Comedy Club Intern

Location: Burbank, California

Duration: Q2, Q3, Q4 of 2025

Description: Nitecap Comedy Club is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our internship program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the entertainment industry, specifically within the realm of comedy club operations. Interns will have the chance to work closely with our team, learn from industry professionals, and contribute to the success of our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Support: Assist with the coordination and execution of comedy shows and events, including setup, guest services, and teardown.
2. Marketing and Promotion: Support the marketing team in promoting upcoming shows through social media, email campaigns, and other promotional channels.
3. Artist Relations: Assist with artist hospitality, ensuring performers have everything they need before and after their sets.
4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests attending comedy shows, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
5. Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
6. Venue Maintenance: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the venue before, during, and after events.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, or recent graduate preferred.
• Passion for comedy and the entertainment industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
