Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Pros available weekday afternoons, evenings and weekends to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Requirements

• Available on weekends from as early as 6am to as late as 11pm.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with privacy, dignity, and respect
• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and TB (tuberculosis) test
• Good driving record with a valid CA drivers license and valid auto insurance (required for driving clients)
• Live in the following cities, Whittier, Norwalk, La Mirada, Santa Fe Springs, Artesia, Cerritos, La Habra, Hacienda Heights

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimers and/or Dementia Care
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead
