Description:

Perform accounting functions as described below.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent; and six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER

Customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, works well in a team environment, and able to work with a diverse group of people.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

SURROUNDINGS: Spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas.

SITTING: On a regular basis for prolonged periods.

STANDING: On a regular basis.

WALKING: On a regular basis.

BENDING, TWISTING AND/OR STOOPING: On a regular basis.

KNEELING AND/OR SQUATTING: Infrequently.

LIFTING: 10 lbs to 25 lbs infrequently.

REACHING AND/OR LIFTING OVERHEAD: Infrequently.

CLIMBING: Stairs.

REPETITIVE HAND/FINGER MOVEMENT: On a regular basis for prolonged periods.

GRASPING/GRABBING WITH HANDS: On a regular basis.

PUSHING AND PULLING: Infrequently.

  1. Perform accounting functions by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
  2. Apply student payments.
  3. Research and solve payment discrepancies.
  4. Process credit card payments and credits.
  5. Make adjustments to accounts as needed.
  6. Prepare weekly manual deposits.
  7. Other assigned duties.
