Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Schedule store employees to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.
  2. Supervise employees to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines.
  3. Interview and process applications for new store employees.
  4. Provide training on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  5. Issue disciplinary warnings, conduct employee evaluations, and set goals in coordination with administration.
  6. Order merchandise and maintain accurate inventory records.
  7. Manage cash registers, safeguard cash, and handle banking in accordance with ARCC policy.
  8. Process paperwork related to Hour and Wage compliance.
  9. Attend monthly manager meetings and communicate new policies to staff.
  10. Maintain good customer relations and set an example through greeting customers and donors.
  11. Ensure safety measures are established and hazards are reported.
  12. Protect property and maintain the store environment.
  13. Work towards increasing store sales based on budget and goals.
  14. May transfer between stores as directed by administration.
  15. Implement loss prevention measures.
  16. Coordinate daily team meetings and shift changes.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of retail sales/customer service experience.
  • Previous supervisory retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate POS/Cash Register and supervise staff.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to pass background checks.
  • Effective communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects including carts, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Operate a telephone.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive motion tasks.
