Location: LA – hybrid schedule

Responsibilities:

  1. Place purchase orders (POs) accurately and on time, making revisions as necessary, and ensuring timely receipt by suppliers.
  2. Manage packing materials and labels guide to ensure all products are packaged correctly for all customers.
  3. Maintain and manage the Style Master in the ERP system, including new style setups and maintaining data integrity.
  4. Address shipped goods shortages/overages with Planning to minimize impact on production.
  5. Participate in invoice resolution and supplier account reconciliation.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and execution of POs.
  7. Support special projects related to vendor purchasing in coordination with the Production Manager.
  8. Review and manage Work In Progress (WIP) of all vendors, actively monitoring PO status.
  9. Check all incoming POs for correct Landed Duty Paid (LDP) costs and update Full Circle by warehouse.
  10. Provide basic factory support and answer questions as required.
  11. Daily update of Metabase missing costing.
  12. Manage Value-Added Service (VAS) files and order RFIDs & packaging materials.
  13. Send weekly in-transit files to internal teams.
  14. Attend and recap weekly factory meetings, providing production summary reports to factories.
  15. Update & manage the Standard Cost Calculator.
  16. Track late POs for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
  17. Send necessary documents such as 832 to ensure POs are received properly.
  18. Manage sample requests/tracking.
  19. Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned.
  20. Update/split POs as EDIs/customer POs are received.
  21. Set up ID#s on Finance file.
  22. Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
  23. Communicate with Planning on PO status, lateness, and shortages.
  24. Send 943 when invoices are submitted from the factories.
  25. Set up prepack style master in FC.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing/production in apparel companies.
  • Experience with production for Walmart & Target, knowledgeable in packing & shipping requirements.
  • Excellent organization skills & strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with overseas vendors & internal teams.
  • Minimum 2 years of ERP experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, formulas, PivotTables, SumIf, etc.).
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, flexible, with strong analytical skills, and a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
