Full - Time Front Desk Agent / Relief Night Auditor

Join us to apply for the Full - Time Front Desk Agent / Relief Night Auditor role at Shore Hotel.

This position is non-exempt, full-time, and part-time, reporting to the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or Guest Services Supervisor. The role involves greeting guests, check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service to promote guest satisfaction and hotel profitability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests, managing check-in/check-out, and providing information about hotel services and local area.
  • Assisting with payments, processing credit/debit cards, and handling cash transactions.
  • Maintaining knowledge of hotel offerings, promotions, and policies.
  • Upselling hotel services and facilities to maximize occupancy.
  • Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving issues diplomatically.
  • Monitoring occupancy levels and coordinating with other departments.
  • Logging messages, packages, and mail, and maintaining communication with hotel staff.
  • Operating radios and ensuring proper use of communication protocols.
  • Adhering to hotel policies, including credit policies and service standards.
  • Stocking and maintaining front desk supplies and materials.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in guest services; hotel experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Opera is a plus.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
