Collector, 11-30 days

As part of the Premier Auto Credit family, you will contact auto loan customers regarding late or missed payments, understand reasons for delinquencies, and assist customers by negotiating payment arrangements.

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, plus 1 Saturday/month

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Contact customers to discuss delinquencies and negotiate payments.
• Handle accounts accurately and professionally.
• Complete calls meeting performance standards.
• Confirm or negotiate payment plans, research discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Use computerized systems for tracking and troubleshooting.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email professionally.
• Follow all legal requirements regarding account handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Experience with follow-ups and negotiation.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with dialer systems and bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Education & Experience:

• At least 1 year in credit and collections preferred.
• Knowledge of FDCPA and skip tracing techniques.
• Associate's degree or 2-5 years customer service experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting for prolonged periods and working on a computer.
