ABOUT OUR RETAIL TEAM

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers and donors warmly, providing prompt and courteous assistance to meet their needs.
  • Stock merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring items are priced and ready for sale.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and donation areas; perform cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Follow POS/Cash Register policies in accordance with TSA procedures.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance standards.
  • Attend monthly store meetings.
  • Receive, unload, and accurately stock incoming inventory.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages to ensure quality.
  • Assist donors with removing donated items from vehicles and provide receipts.
  • Sort and stack donated materials into proper containers as instructed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to operate POS/Cash Register systems accurately and handle cash transactions.
  • Must pass background checks, including criminal history and sex offender registry.
  • Effective communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist regularly.
  • Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects such as carts, fixtures, and merchandise.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive motion tasks as required.
  • Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

SCHEDULE

Our stores operate 7 days a week. Work schedules are determined by management, and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Part-time shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
