This firm is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build a world-class cloud infrastructure while leveraging cutting-edge technologies. The role includes oversight responsibilities for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient development pipelines while working closely with development and operations teams. This position is crucial for ensuring operational excellence, enabling continuous delivery, and fostering collaboration between development and operational teams. The ideal candidate will define strategic direction for DevOps practices and champion a culture of automation, reliability, and performance. Knowledge of AI/ML integration in DevOps workflows is a differentiator. Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and implement the organization's DevOps strategy, aligning it with business and technology goals.
  • Design, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless code integration, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Drive the adoption of modern infrastructure solutions, including containerization, orchestration, and serverless computing.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, security, and QA teams to deliver reliable and scalable systems.
  • Ensure system uptime and performance through proactive monitoring, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with security, governance, and industry standards throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including performance tuning and process automation.
  • Evaluate and implement cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance DevOps capabilities.
Qualifications:

Technical Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and platforms, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) as well as networking and related services.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, serverless computing, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with security best practices, including DevSecOps and compliance requirements.
