Job Details

The Director, Media Relations and Communications, supports the critical needs and growth of the hospital and health system through strategic direction in media, digital and executive communications. The Director supports the CEO and Vice President of Government and Community Relations regionally, statewide and nationally with targeted messaging and media placement relevant to MLKCH emerging priorities. The Director manages all media, develops content for placement, and establishes strategies to position MLKCH as a thought leader in ways that will influence policy and engage lawmakers, donors and community leaders. The Director reports to the Chief Communications Officer and works closely with the CEO and Vice President of Government and Community relations to create content, develop creative strategies and drive media and speaking engagements that ensure the success of MLK Community Healthcare.
