HOUSEKEEPER The HOUSEKEEPER is responsible cleaning and maintaining the appearance of all public areas of the work site, cleaning and sanitizing patient/client rooms, changing bed/bath linens, deep cleaning of assigned areas, sweeping/mopping floors, removing trash and meeting/event set-up. In addition, the HOUSEKEEPER is responsible for restocking Housekeeping supplies. The successful candidate will possess the following: One year housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospital or similar environment Laundry experience required preferred Knowledge of housekeeping supplies including cleaning chemicals Knowledge of deep cleaning / maintaining multiple areas of a hospital including patient rooms (occupied and un-occupied), nursing stations, lounges, cafeteria / kitchen, waiting areas and offices Experience with floor maintenance Must be able to communicate (speak and understand) English PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment.
