Netflix's Content Programming Strategy & Operations (CPS&O) team is looking for a Manager to join its team in its Los Angeles office, supporting US & Canada Scripted Series. Part of Netflix's Content organization, CPS&O is a dynamic team that influences and supports strategic decisions and planning by leaders across our content teams.

We inform content decisions and drive content operations to deliver the most thrilling content offering and value to our members. We do this by:

  1. Helping optimize our slate, programming, and investments from development to launch.
  2. Leading cross-functional coordination and driving solutions for operational challenges.
  3. Providing an informed perspective on future business development opportunities.

We partner closely with our Content, Production, Business Affairs, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead performance analysis of launched titles, including audience deep dives and data analysis for renewal decisions.
  2. Provide strategic support on programming from greenlight through renewal, both on an individual title and across the entire Scripted Series slate.
  3. Spearhead special projects for senior Netflix leaders and develop recommendations on key programming and operational issues.
  4. Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor slates, and whitespace programming opportunities.
  5. Partner closely with Content, Production, Business Affairs, Finance, Product, and Consumer Insights teams.

Qualifications

  1. 5-7 years of work experience, MBA preferred.
  2. Experience in entertainment/media highly preferred.
  3. Passion for Content / Entertainment.
  4. Experience conducting quantitative analysis (including modeling) and qualitative analysis; ability to drive insights and results using data.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills with a track record of clearly and concisely presenting complex analysis to executives and senior management.
  6. Strong initiative and ability to work independently; thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  7. Highly intellectually curious, with the courage to challenge the status quo and uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
  8. Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Due to the nature and scope of this role, a background check will be conducted prior to starting.

Our compensation structure is solely based on an annual salary; we do not offer bonuses. You can choose each year how much of your compensation to allocate to salary versus stock options. The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $525,000.

Paid leave of absence programs are also available. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off, while salaried employees are entitled to flexible time off immediately.
