Compensation Range:

Anticipated compensation range of $74,183.00 - $92,633.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

750900 Phlebotomy

Expectations:

Assists the Laboratory Manager with the operation of the phlebotomy department by performing educational and phlebotomy procedures in conjunction with associated clerical and quality assurance functions. Acts as a technical resource and educational lead to ensure an efficient operation. Works with lab management to perform various administrative tasks that ensure section/shift operates in an efficient, effective manner.
This position requires flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
Must have a college degree.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Must have a minimum of two years experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital setting drawing patients of all ages.
Must have previous supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
Must have a strong background in education.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by State of California.

SKILLS:
Exemplary communication and organizational.
Must have the ability to calmly and equitably moderate disagreements.
Maintain a positive approach to problem solving and be flexible in meeting new challenges.
Ability to multitask.
Strong computer skills.
