WE ARE LOOKING FOR A COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER

The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of our client relationships, retention of renewals, and maintaining a partnership with the producer and Account Executives (when applicable). The Account Management role is the focal point of our customers' interaction with Poms and they are relied on to be the integral link in that business relationship.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Producer and/or Account Executive by servicing the client's needs, including renewal preparation, marketing, and policy administration
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients through regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing effective coverage recommendations.
  • Establish and nurture productive partnerships with insurance carriers to ensure timely quotations and policies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and addressing their needs.
  • Keep the producer informed of important activities and potential issues related to client accounts.
  • Utilize the agency management system (AMS360) effectively and properly, ensuring thorough documentation of all account transactions.
  • In conjunction with the Producer and/or Account Executive, conduct ar reviews of assigned accounts to identify coverage gaps and opportunities for account growth.
  • Cultivate a strong internal network to promote teamwork and contribute to the company's goals.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of property/casualty multi-line commercial experience preferred.
  • Experience in all aspects of servicing commercial accounts (proposals, marketing, coverage review, billing, endorsements, certificates, etc.)
  • Strong technical knowledge of policy coverage and rating
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to explain insurance concepts in simple terms.
  • Professional demeanor and adaptability to various business needs.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with AMS360 is a plus.
  • College degree is a bonus, but a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid Property and Casualty license..
