Job Details

The Transporter/ Courier transports patients, equipment, supplies and other items throughout the hospital in a safe and timely manner. Assists in the mobilization/transports of patient's/visitors in reaching destination through the hospital and upon discharge. Follows all patient / visitor protocols. Ensures that requests for information and services are accurately responded to, in a timely and appropriate manner, sensitive to the circumstances of the patient's/guest's emotional situation and privacy needs. Ensures cleanliness of patient equipment. PATIENT TRANSPORTATION: Transports patients, equipment, supplies, and other items throughout the hospital in a safe and timely manner. Complies with all infection control measures as appropriate. Ensure patients privacy and dignity at all times. Appropriately follows patient/visitor protocols.
