Century Group is currently searching for an AP Processor to join the team of a health care company located in Long Beach. This position will be responsible for the general accounting tasks for tracking, processing, and payment of invoices for services or goods purchased from vendors. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $23 to $25 per hour.

Job Description:

• Generate timely release of payments through provider payment system, trade payable system and expense management system.
• Responsible for efficient and accurate processing of high-volume payables within the payable system and ensure compliance with the company policy.
• Process and validate the set-up of vendors and maintain vendor database.
• Assist in the 1099 distribution.
• Research and reconcile payable reports, prepare, file and remit escheat payments to the state.
• Independently resolve errors that occur during processing.

• Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
