Entry Level-

We are a small, licensed Jewish community child care center located in West Los Angeles, serving children ages 2–6. Our preschool is a warm, eclectic environment where the spirit of childhood is nurtured and celebrated. We aim to foster curious, empathetic, confident, and joyful learners through a creative, unpressured, and developmentally appropriate curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

We are seeking a Part-Time Preschool Teacher (Monday–Friday) to join our collaborative and dynamic teaching team. This is an opportunity for an educator who is passionate about early childhood education and is looking to grow in a supportive and inspiring setting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 ECE units (AA or BA in Early Childhood Education preferred)
• Classroom experience in early childhood settings
• Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach, emergent curriculum, and project-based learning-Entry Level
• Experience supervising children and managing classroom environments
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
• Strong communication, time management, and decision-making skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• LifeScan (fingerprinting/background clearance) required

Preferred but not required:

• Art background
• Experience in mindful, holistic environments
• Experience working in Jewish early childhood settings
• Fluency in a second language (Hebrew or Spanish is a plus)
