Description:

This is an exciting supervisory opportunity in the aviation industry! In addition to overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance and ensuring compliance with the company standards and all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements, this role will provide leadership and supervise staff on a daily basis.

Helicopter Shop Foreman Preferred Background and Skills:

  • Experience with Sikorsky S-76, Airbus AS350, and/or Leonardo AW109 (at least ONE of these is a MUST)

Helicopter Shop Foreman Benefits and Compensation:

  • Compensation: $48 - 60 per hour (approximately $100K-$125K based on a 40-hour work week)

Helicopter Shop Foreman Responsibilities:

  • Work with and support the Director of Maintenance with maintenance assignments.
  • Ensure all appropriate documentation is complete and up to date
  • Read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and reordering

Helicopter Shop Foreman Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current, valid A&P License with verifiable experience
  • High School Diploma
  • High attention to detail and thrives in a team environment
  • May require shift work on nights and weekends
  • Must be able to lift 70lbs. and work in a variety of elements
  • Legally eligible to work in the US and pass FAA regulated drug/alcohol tests as well as a background check
