About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Underwriting Operations with a strong background in underwriting, particularly within the Property and Casualty (P&C) and Excess and Surplus (E&S) markets. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and continuous enhancement of our end-to-end underwriting operations. Your main objectives will include driving automation, adopting AI technologies, and implementing digital workflows to boost operational efficiency and improve service quality.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in P&C underwriting, with a preference for expertise in the E&S market. This leadership position requires a proven record in managing operational or call center teams, with a visible focus on automation, process redesign, and creating scalable operations. You will have the opportunity to shape scalable processes that support our business growth while leading a team of underwriting assistants.
