Sr. IT Project Engineer Overview

Frontline, LLC - Managed IT Services & IT Support is dedicated to empowering businesses in Los Angeles through cutting-edge IT solutions. We specialize in delivering exceptional IT help desk support, network engineering and administration, cyber security, and comprehensive IT consulting services.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Sr. IT Project Engineer (onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and resolve technical issues faced by clients.
• Provide IT engineering services both remotely and onsite, covering areas from cloud implementations to network setups.
• Lead projects involving O365 migrations, transitioning on-prem environments to Azure, and deploying firewalls (Cisco & SonicWALL).
• Maintain regular communication with project managers and project team members to ensure project success.
• Apply technical expertise to ensure project completion within budget and timelines.

Network Administration/Engineering:

• Configure and provide support for internal and external networks.
• Deliver support for network infrastructure including Internet, Firewall, DNS, Switching, Routing, Remote Access, and VPN.
• Coordinate and execute upgrades for network software and hardware.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded technical skill set with extensive experience in cloud services, networking, and system administration.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar IT engineering role.
• Experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient with Microsoft Cloud Solutions, specifically Azure.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office 365 migrations, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Wildly skilled in deploying and troubleshooting Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019).
• Deep understanding of Windows desktop systems (7, 8.1, 10) and MacOS 10.10 or newer.
• Familiarity with networking technologies and firewall management.
• Strong knowledge in network troubleshooting (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, VOIP, VPNs, and network security).
• Experience with VMware management and deployment.
• Knowledgeable in Mobile Device Management, Intune, and MFA.
• Understanding of cyber security tools such as Sentinel One and Perch.
• Familiarity with RMM tools like Kaseya or ConnectWise.
• Exposure to backup solutions, including Backup Radar and Veeam.
• Should possess a solid understanding of Office 365 Admin and Migration processes.
