DutiesandResponsibilities:

• Manages/coordinatesstrategicplanning,technologyadministration,andpreventivemaintenancetoensuresecurity,reliability,andavailabilityofnetworkandotherITresources.
• Developsandimplementsoverallinstitutionalstrategictechnologyplan,includingdatabaseandwebneeds,network,systemsdevelopment,hardware/softwareacquisition,desktop,andprogramintegrationeffortsincoordinationwiththeClinic'sbusinessgoalsandstrategicplans.
• Manages/coordinatesexternalmanagedserviceprovider.
• Assignworkloads,developpriorities,establishworkschedules,monitorstaffproductivityandperformance
• Documentdisciplinaryactionsand/orcounselingsessionsinconsultationwithdepartmentleadershipandHumanResources.
• ManagestheITSupportteamtoensuremaintenanceandsupportofdesktopcomputers,printers,andperipheralequipmentatallClinicsites.
• Develops,implements,andworkswiththemanagementteamtoenforcehardwareandsoftware,andsecuritypolicies.
• ManagesmaintenanceandsupportoftheClinic'scriticalbusinesssystems,applications,servers,andnetworkresources,ensuringreliability,availability,andperformancetomeetuserneeds,includingthemanagementofthird-partyvendors.
• Developsandimplementssecurityanddisasterplanningactivities;plansforandprovidesleadershipduringemergencysituations,andmanagesdisasterrecoveryefforts.
• Managesinformationsystemsinfrastructurereporting,includinghardware/softwareerrorvolumesandresponsetimes;securitybreaches;back-upsandpreventivemaintenance;systemavailability;softwareerrorandenhancementrequests,etc.
• Tracksandevaluatesnewstandards,technologies,andtrends,particularlyamongcommunityclinics;recommendstechnologyenhancementsanddevelopsimplementationplans,especiallywhenthesewillimproveefficiencyand/orreducecosts.
• DevelopsandmanagesInformationTechnologybudgetsandcapitalinvestmentsinclosecoordinationwithseniormanagement;ensuresexpenditurescomplywithapprovedbudgets;monitorsandevaluatesbudgetissuesandrecommendscorrectiveaction.
• Managesthepurchase,installation,testinganddeploymentofhardwareandsoftware,recommendingandbudgetingforupgradesasneeded.
• Managescontractualagreementswithservice/productproviders;maintainseffectiveworkingrelationshipswithvendorstoensuretheClinicreceivesproperserviceinaccordancewithanyagreements;controlsassociatedcosts.
• Asaseniormanager,theincumbentisexpectedtoassumeresponsibilityforprojects,bothmajorandroutine,outsideofdailyresponsibilities.

PositionRequirements:

• Bachelor'sdegreeinrelatedfieldoranequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.
• FamiliaritywithOperatingSystems(Windows10/11,Windowsserver2016+,Linux)
• FamiliaritywithOffice365Backend(Admin,ExchangeOnline,SharePointOnline,etc.)
• FamiliaritywithAzurehostingenvironment.
• FamiliaritywithMicrosoftEntra,MicrosoftHyper-V,MicrosoftActiveDirectory
• FamiliaritywithModernEDR/XDRsystems(SentinelOne,etc.)
• FamiliaritywithVeeambackup
• Projectmanagementskills.
