About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior leadership team. The CFO will be a mission-driven leader, serving as a strategic partner to the President and Board of Directors to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the institution. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing multi-year fiscal strategies, overseeing all financial operations, and leading the finance and accounting organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and must have a deep respect for the mission of the institution. The CFO will also be involved in stewarding the school's financial resources, ensuring compliance, and advancing strategic initiatives. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA and/or MBA preferred. A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in a senior financial management role is required, with a background in independent schools or nonprofit organizations being a plus. The role demands expertise in financial compliance, forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning, as well as proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven professional with superior interpersonal and communication skills.
