Job Title: Clinical Case Manager / Therapist

Department: Full Service Partnership (FSP) Program

Reports to: Program Manager

The Alcott Center for Mental Health is seeking an organized, motivated and professional candidate for a full-time position providing field-based services in its Full Service Partnership (FSP) Program. The population served includes adults being released from Los Angeles Correctional Facilities, having served time for quality of life crimes, with a full spectrum of DSM diagnoses. The individual will provide in-reach, assessment, treatment planning, linkage, crisis, individual, conjoint, and rehabilitation services as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Registered interns may obtain BBS intern hours while receiving mental health training, supervision, salary and employer paid benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Document provided services in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner according to LAC-DMH, Medi-Cal, and Agency Documentation Standards.
• Maintain an appropriate level of client service utilization & billing.
• Work comfortably and independently in field and correctional center settings.
• Follow instructions, follow up, and complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Perform basic computer skills required for an electronic health record.
• Consistently maintain agency productivity standards.
• May require the ability to respond to a crisis after hours, including participating in rotating on-call.
• Experience providing services to individuals living with mental illness in a directly operated, county-contracted, residential, or other mental health agency helpful
• Other duties may be designated as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Evidence of clear criminal record, eligibility to claim Medi-Cal
• CA BBS Registration Required
• May require LPS designation/certification
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required
• Proof of valid California Driver's License required. Clean driving record required and must be insurable on Alcott policy.
• Live Scan is required.

If driving a company vehicle is an essential function of your position, you are required to possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's License and be insurable by our insurance carrier.

All employees are required to be fully vaccinated and have (1) Booster upon hire date. If you have a medical or religious exemption proof will be required upon hire date.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week; the agency is currently open for services Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm.
