Project and Position Description
The Terminal 5 Renovation & Reconstruction (T5 R&R) Low Voltage Special Systems (LVSS) Project Manager reports to the T5 R&R Terminal Project Manager and is responsible for driving and overseeing the design and execution of all IT, special systems, and technology systems for the T5 R&R project. The T5 R&R LVSS PM provides oversight of the design-builder's design and execution of IT disciplines per LAWA standards.
This position will serve as the primary IT liaison and airport/owner representative for the T5 R&R project. The role will act as a bridge between the project and Information Management & Technology (IMT), managing the details required to execute this effort and ensuring rollout without impact to airport or airline operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with large stakeholder interfaces while also managing the details that go into signage design concepts, installation, and activation.
The Terminal 5 Program covers the full demolition and rebuild of the Terminal 5 headhouse and concourse, as well as various enabling scopes to vacate the existing building.
