Panda Express seeks a full-time Ops Innovation Engineer to work at its office in Rosemead, CA. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Candidate duties will include: Conduct research and evaluation of existing equipment and technology to improve Operations efficiency and effectiveness related to saving labor costs, improving food quality, creating energy savings, and extending equipment's life span; Conduct research and evaluation of potential new technologies to design and develop new equipment to improve Operations efficiency and effectiveness related to saving labor costs, improving food quality, creating energy savings, and extending equipment's life span; Collect and review equipment technical data, cost estimates, and technical support, and survey results for each project; Implement system-wide roll-out of any new equipment, cookware, or small ware, as assigned; and Respond to service requests, concerns, or special design needs from Operations for equipment related projects. Candidate must possess 12 months of experience in practical operations or innovation engineering, and using SolidWorks, COMSOL, ANSYS Fluent, and Python.
