Overview

Jerry.ai is seeking a Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth) to help scale our core insurance business. In this high-visibility role, you will report to the VP of Insurance Operations and own the systems, strategy, and execution behind Jerry's quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and analytics to create a seamless user experience and drive critical outcomes for our insurance marketplace (loss ratio, retention, and conversion).

About The Opportunity

Jerry.ai is building the first super app to make car ownership affordable and accessible – insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc. We started with insurance in 2019 and have since launched loan refinancing, driving insights, repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot & voicebot. We have amassed over 5M customers, raised $240M in funding, scaled revenue 60X and grown our team to 225 across 6 countries. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategy of a category-defining fintech company at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the systems, strategy, and execution behind Jerry's quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and analytics to ensure a seamless user experience and drive outcomes for the insurance marketplace (loss ratio, retention, conversion).
• Scale the business from current levels toward ambitious growth targets (e.g., 5M to 50M customers; contribute to reaching a $10B business).
• Define and implement operating models, processes, and performance metrics to optimize marketplace growth and carrier relations.
• Partner with leadership to shape long-term strategy and translate it into actionable plans across teams.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc.).
• 7+ years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, or BCG preferred).
• Track record of hiring and managing high-performing teams.
