We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assurance Audit Manager to join our Corporate Audit/Assurance team. This role is responsible for leading audit engagements for both public and private companies across various industries. You will collaborate with leadership to plan, budget, and execute audits, while supervising and mentoring lower-level staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, client service skills, and a commitment to best practices and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage external audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, ensuring effective workflow coordination and resolution of complex audit and accounting issues.
• Prepare and manage engagement budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
• Draft financial statements and audit complex areas such as debt, derivatives, and non-standard transactions.
• Review and ensure completeness and consistency of audit work papers, including documentation of procedures, evidence, and conclusions.
• Identify and address key client issues, proposing solutions to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a strong command of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant audit methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance services.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; or a Bachelor's degree with requisite accounting coursework.
• Active CPA license in good standing.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks, guide team members, and manage engagements effectively.

• Heavy sitting for extended periods in front of a computer
• Overnight travel may be necessary

• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
• Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

• Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus program where you can earn up to 10% of your base salary.
