POSITION SUMMARY: Develop sales territory to meet and exceed profitability goals as defined by the strategic plan, annual sales budget, and desired levels of market penetration for overall volume, margin, and product line.

The territory will include the 'South' Bay, Long Beach, West to Los Angeles, to Santa Monica.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Achieve successful outcomes through application of a consultative sales process, relationship-based, providing solutions to business problems
  2. Determine customer requirements for new products and services, and introduce new products to ongoing accounts
  3. Develop additional and new profitable business in specified markets, territories, and/or customer segments through inbound or outbound calls
  4. Process accepted orders, maintain accurate records, and provide necessary follow-up
  5. Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and outstanding customer service
  6. Keep customers updated with pricing, promotions, and marketing information
  7. Maintain accurate files related to customer contacts, details, and promotional activities
  8. Drive to customer locations to sell products & services, establish relationships, and solve problems
  9. Maintain excellent customer service and rapport for future growth opportunities
  10. Think and react quickly under pressure with knowledgeable responses
  11. Develop understanding of customers, competitors, partners, business models, market sizing, and industry trends
  12. Conduct data analyses measuring actual purchases against goals
  13. Utilize sales technology/CRM/reporting to capture activity, trends, and changes

Additional responsibilities include living our values, championing continuous improvement, self-development, supporting safety and compliance, and identifying cross-divisional sales opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. The annual base salary starts at a minimum of $80,000, with compensation range depending on location and factors such as experience, skills, and certifications. This reflects the base salary only; bonuses and incentives are additional. U.S. Venture offers a competitive benefits package.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience
  3. 8+ years in business management, operations, or sales
  4. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  5. Financial acumen for budgeting
  6. Strong communication skills
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  8. Ability to articulate customer value internally and externally
  9. Organized, able to prioritize and plan ahead
  10. Self-motivated and results-driven
  11. Customer-focused with problem-solving skills
  12. Ethical and trustworthy
  13. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  14. Ability to travel occasionally, including overnights
  15. Pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding THC/marijuana)
