About the Role

The company is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Alternative Investment Sales to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales of alternative investment products, showcasing our marketplace offerings, and delivering expert insights about the advantages of alternative investments to both advisors and clients. This position requires regular travel within your territory, participation in industry events, and using a consultative approach to effectively meet client needs.

You will stay well-informed about our diverse product offerings, lead the rollout process for new managers, and collaborate closely with our asset management partners to support our capital-raising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a client-facing role within the alternative investment sector, coupled with a proven success track record in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

We are looking for someone who excels in selling and supporting a variety of alternative investment products—including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate offerings. Candidates must hold Series 7 and 63 licenses, with a commitment to obtaining a CAIA designation within three years of hire. A strong ability to manage a sales pipeline, lead CRM initiatives, and adhere to a rigorous sales process is essential.
