Job Description

Job Title: HR Generalist -Japanese Bilingual-

Pay Range: $35/hour (DOE)

Location: Gardena, CA

Work Style: Hybrid (3days office)

Essential Job Functions:

• Support for expatriates (various procedures, tax filings, payroll, etc.)
• Compliance (state law updates, ordering labor law posters, etc.)
• Workers' compensation handling (document submission, communication with insurance companies, etc.)
• LOA (Leave of Absence) recordkeeping and tracking
• Preparation of government filings such as EEO-1 reports, EDD, and OSHA
• Full-cycle onboarding and offboarding, including new hire orientation
• Employee training support
• Organizational chart updates
• Responding to employee inquiries
• Additional tasks as needed and support for team members

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including the responsibilities listed above
• Bachelor's degree required
• Japanese language proficiency required
