As a Senior Client Relationship Manager within our Global Clients & Industries team, you will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding relationships with our most strategic clients, particularly in priority sectors. Your focus will be on fostering connections with companies that lead on the West Coast of the United States.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with senior partners and global industry leaders to execute strategic client initiatives that drive long-term growth and reinforce our firm's reputation as a trusted advisor, particularly in technology and key emerging sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to partners on business development opportunities, particularly for West Coast-based clients.
  • Collaborate with Global Industry Group Leaders to develop and implement go-to-market strategies aligned with our growth sectors.
  • Drive the advancement of institutional client relationships across our practice groups and locations.
  • Lead the management of select Global Strategic Clients, focusing on client plans, engagement strategies, and revenue goals.
  • Facilitate seamless collaboration across internal teams to enhance service delivery to our clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to uncover insights into emerging trends and client needs.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations to strengthen relationships.
  • Build and maintain a robust network of senior client contacts to support our firm's goals.
  • Regularly monitor client satisfaction and adjust our offerings to meet their changing needs.
  • Assist in preparing strategic pitches, proposals, and presentations, ensuring relevance and alignment to client objectives.
  • Work with Events and Sponsorship teams to coordinate firm participation in key industry events.
  • Track business development metrics and client engagement activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Champion knowledge-sharing initiatives within the firm regarding sector trends and Global Strategic Clients.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by leadership.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in business development or client relationship management in a law firm or global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of the Technology sector and its trends, especially in areas like Venture Capital, FinTech, AI, and SaaS.
  • Proven ability to design and execute strategic business development plans leading to measurable growth.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at the executive level.
  • Strong project and account management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a focus on results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities through market data.
  • Organized and detail-oriented while understanding broader business objectives.
  • Collaborative, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Technologically proficient, especially with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances with a positive attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

Location: This role is based in our Los Angeles or Silicon Valley office.
