Power BI Developer
Pay Range: $65/hour to $77/hour

About the Role
We are looking for a Power BI Developer who is passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights. You'll be a key member of our client's analytics team, developing scalable and high-performance Power BI solutions that empower decision-makers across the organization. This role requires strong SQL skills, attention to data quality, and a solid understanding of business processes in supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, apps, and dataflows to support enterprise analytics and operational decision-making.
  
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient and accurate data extraction from various sources.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into clear, actionable visualizations.
  
• Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure report accuracy and reliability.
  
• Optimize performance of Power BI data models, queries, and dashboards.
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams in supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, and design engineering to understand their data and reporting needs.
  
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, reporting processes, and standards.
  

• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI-including dashboards, dataflows, and published apps.
  
• Strong SQL proficiency, with experience in writing complex queries and tuning for performance.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and validation.
  
• Familiarity with business processes in supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or design engineering.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Effective communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
  
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake.
  
• Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices for BI development.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
