This is a fantastic Tax Director opportunity at one of the leading entertainment companies in the country. They are actively searching for an experienced Tax Director to join the dynamic team of this industry giant.

As a Tax Director, you will play a pivotal role in the company's rapid growth. You'll be responsible for managing various aspects of the global tax function, including compliance, reporting, planning, and general tax operations. The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will report to someone who has been in the industry for many years so there is a lot of visibility and exposure. In this role, the Tax Director will have the opportunity to collaborate with external tax advisors, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams. Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Review corporate federal, state and local income tax returns
• Review interim and year-end tax provision including current taxable income calculation and deferred tax rollforward
• Various tax projects related to tax audit and planning
• Identify opportunities to minimize the effective tax rate

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate (Form 1120) tax compliance experience from a top public accounting firm or out of industry - Big 4 experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong communication and analytical skills
