Under minimum supervision, perform a variety of tasks assisting Journeyman Mechanics and/or Lead persons aiding in a variety of tasks including maintaining and repairing several different HVAC and plumbing machinery and equipment with a career path directed toward HVAC Mechanic. Essential Job Duties. Responsible for following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Assist in repairs including routine maintenance on HVAC machinery and equipment. Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties. Coordinating with team members to provide excellent customer service. Assist in HVAC repairs and maintenance. Assist in a variety of construction duties on rehabilitation projects including clean-up. This position may require driving a campus vehicle. Will load and unload equipment, tools, and materials at job sites. Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order.
