Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and high voltage power systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Autocad, Bluebeam, and other relevant software for designing and planning electrical systems. The candidate must have a solid understanding of industry regulations and standards, including but not limited to Title 24, OSFM, DSA, HCAI, OSHPD, DGS, DSH, Calvet. This position requires coordination with various Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and working on a wide range of projects including city, school, college, university, police, jail, prison, fire department, industrial, and commercial facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex electrical systems and circuits.
  • Perform voltage drop calculations, short circuit current calculations, and other relevant electrical calculations.
  • Coordinate with various AHJs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Use Autocad, Bluebeam, and other relevant software for designing and planning electrical systems.
  • Work on a wide range of projects including city, school, college, university, police, jail, prison, fire department, industrial, and commercial facilities.
  • Review and respond to RFI's in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform photometric calculations and prepare reports.
  • Work closely with mechanical and structural engineers to ensure optimal performance and integration of systems.
  • Develop and implement controls and switching systems.
  • Design and oversee the installation of high voltage power systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proficient in Autocad, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards including but not limited to Title 24, OSFM, DSA, HCAI, OSHPD, DGS, DSH, Calvet.
  • Experience coordinating with various AHJs.
  • Experience working on a wide range of projects including city, school, college, university, police, jail, prison, fire department, industrial, and commercial facilities.
  • Ability to perform complex electrical calculations.
  • Knowledge of controls and switching systems.
  • Experience with high voltage power systems.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
