Marine Construction Manager, PE

Position Overview
The Marine Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate marine construction projects including ship repair and construction for the Port Authority and Water Resources entities. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of marine construction projects from planning to execution.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance.
• Develop project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress against them.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safety on site.
• Lead a team of engineers, construction workers, and divers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Review and approve project designs and specifications to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation on project status and performance.
• Participate in bid strategy for securing hard bid and negotiated work projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in construction management, specifically in marine construction.
• Prior experience managing marine construction projects 100k-5M+
• Prior experience with business development and Excel estimates.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
