THE OPPORTUNITY

The DataOps Team at KRAFTON operates and optimizes large-scale data platforms to ensure reliable processing of massive datasets. We define and standardize policies to enable consistent and seamless use of the multi-regional data platform across various organizations. Our mission also includes implementing compliance and security requirements for the data platform using the latest technologies and proactive strategies to prevent incidents and build a trusted data environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the administration and operation of a multi-cloud, multi-region data platform using Databricks
• Evaluate, adopt, and operate various data platform solutions to meet organizational needs
• Leverage AI technologies to automate and optimize data platform operations
• Ensure compliance and strengthen security for the data platform
• Define, standardize, and implement policies for consistent data platform usage across multiple teams
• Collect, integrate, and manage data from various third-party sources

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of experience operating data platform in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• 1+ years of experience managing and operating Databricks or Snowflake
• Deep understanding of the Modern Data Stack and cloud architecture
• Experience in designing and building real-time or near real-time data pipelines
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work on-site at the Los Angeles office
• Experience in applying AI to automate or enhance data platform operations
• Experience managing Kubernetes-based infrastructure
• Experience in designing secure data platforms to meet various compliance requirements
• Experience designing and executing data platform operational standards (InfraOps, DevOps, etc.)
• Fluent in Korean
