Overview

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Polymer Materials Engineer who will focus on the preparation, testing, and characterization of polymer and composite materials. The role supports research and development efforts through lab work, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams to advance product development.

Responsibilities

• Sample Prep & Testing: Prepare and test polymer/composite samples using mechanical and thermal methods.
• Instrumentation: Operate and maintain specialized lab equipment.
• Data Management: Document and report test results to update material databases.
• Engineering Collaboration: Support R&D and engineering teams with experimental input and material data.
• Lab Maintenance: Ensure the lab environment is clean, safe, and functional.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: 2+ years in polymer or composite material formulation/testing, ideally in automotive applications.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of polymer characterization, testing methods, and data interpretation.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
