Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking an Entry-Level or Associate DSP Algorithms Engineer to join the Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems teams in El Segundo, CA. Boeing's Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems oversees the company's major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense, and other missions.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing next generation RF and digital satellite communication systems
• Developing and verifying multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithms
• Conducting performance analysis of signal processing models
• Performing waveform development and characterization
• Performing trade studies
• Supporting integration and test of our payloads and spacecraft from unit level through in-orbit operations
• Supporting HDL-level design and verification
• Performing detailed system design and verification activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Education and/or experience in signal processing.
• Associate Level: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience working with ASICs or FPGAs
• Experience in RADAR signal processing
• 1+ years of experience with Matlab and/or Simulink
• 1+ years of experience in digital signal processing or digital communications
• 1+ years of experience in systems engineering concepts (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design and trade design)

Summary Pay Range

- Entry-Level: $73,100 - $98,900

- Associate Level: $87,550 - $118,450
