AECOMs West Region is actively seeking a highly motivated Geotechnical Design Lead to join the Los Angeles, California Geo-Civil team. The candidate will support various types of geotechnical related projects from the planning stage to the construction phase. The role will also support project management and business development for our local team. Duties include but are not limited to:Direct field exploration program development that will include soil and rock borings, test pits, CPT soundings, geophysical testing and geotechnical instrumentation. Supervise geotechnical design and construction including inspection of the construction of geotechnical features like retaining walls, ground improvement, foundations, dams, levees, slopes and tunnels.
