Job Details

In this position, you will be working with the Electric Machine Mechanical Design team on the next generation of electric motor components for Rivians Electric Adventure Vehicles. You will support testing and assembly of motor subcomponents and motor assemblies by designing test setups and assembly tooling for systems that are currently in-production as well as for future products currently in-development. Responsibilities Work closely with Engineering Team to lead the design and fabrication of complex test setups and prototype assembly tooling for electric motor components, sub-systems, and electric drive units Utilize CATIA V 6 for detailed 3 D part generation/revision and 2 D drawing layout, ensuring design completeness and accuracy Conduct stack-up analyses for parts and mating interfaces to inform components GD&T and manufacturing requirements Lead root cause analysis studies to identify issue origins and determine appropriate containment actions Develop timelines for design, de...Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical, Design, Staff, Engineer, Mechanic, Automotive
