While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and work in high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather); extreme heat (non-weather) and risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Summary: The Sanitation Technician is responsible for safe operations, ensuring all areas of production are cleaned frequently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assure that SOPs are followed and performed in accordance with GMP.
- Foster a team environment by promoting teamwork atmosphere with all employees.
- Maintain a clean environment such as walls, sinks, and floors, restrooms, and perform duty is as assigned in the facility.
- Clean and prepare all cleaning equipment/accessories following established procedures.
- Clean plastic curtains located in designated areas.
- Adhere to gowning procedures.
- Operate the Zamboni in a safe manner.
- Adherence to HACCP and Food Defense.
- Experience in the food industry, preferred.
- Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.
