- The - - Senior - - - - Manufacturing Engineer- - - will rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with minimal supervision and will use cross-functional leadership, technical knowledge and communication skills to launch new products and improve profitability on existing products in manufacturing areas.- Identify and implement manufacturing projects which improve facility efficiency, reduce scrap, and/or improve product quality in order to contain and/or decrease costs. These include capital and WCM inspired projects. Manage teams of employees in focused areas of productivity improvement. Interact with the leadership of the effected departments to ensure the effective implementation of systematic changes. Perform various facility improvement projects assisting building maintenance and 5-S efforts Work with production supervision and operators to resolve immediate manufacturing problems on the shop floor.
