Our client is a large reputable Financial Services firm with over $100B AUM located in Downtown Los Angeles [DTLA]. They foster a healthy work-life balance with great internal progression and excellent benefits. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Vice President to join their team.

Summary :

The Assistant Vice President will coordinate with the LA treasury, accounts payable teams, and the external fund administrator to manage ongoing cash and accounts payable needs.

Responsibilities :

  1. Account for and reconcile cash, investments, and other balance sheet accounts for all infrastructure funds;
  2. Determine and review distributions and draw-downs;
  3. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to clients;
  4. Analyze and calculate performance metrics for partnerships/accounts and for each investment;
  5. Coordinate with funds' independent auditors to complete annual audits (approximately 10 entities), answer inquiries, and provide documentation;
  6. Respond to investor inquiries with detailed and timely answers;
  7. Perform performance analysis and reporting for fund investors and marketing purposes;
  8. Implement and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controls;
  9. Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree required;
  • Minimum 10-12 years of accounting experience in the financial services or investment management industry;
  • Strong reconciliation and account analysis skills;
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and investment company accounting rules;
  • Solid analytical skills and problem-solving abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
