Facility Projects Manager job at Global Channel Management, Inc., Cypress, CA.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities to include reviewing drawings and specifications, participating in design meetings, providing best practices, commissioning, site evaluations and inspections.
• Work closely with the Customer to ensure alignment with contract requirements and operational policies; take ownership for outcomes.
• Communicate and coordinate with project staff, customers and management; manage work plans, resources, duties, scope of authority and provide technical advice and problem resolution across all project aspects.
• Track project expenditures and installation progress through status reports; modify schedules or plans as required.
• Maintain full financial accountability to the project.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Project Management experience in facilities or new construction.
• Facility Management experience.
• MEP and low voltage controls experience is a plus.
• Must have a reliable vehicle; travel approximately 10% or as needed.
• Bachelor or Associate Degree or equivalent work experience of at least five years.
• PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment in the position.
