Overview

The Neuromodulation Division at UCLA Semel Institute is seeking a Division Manager to oversee its clinical, research, and educational programs. This role will lead day-to-day operations while driving long-term strategic growth for the Division across UCLA Health and in the broader Los Angeles community. Primary duties include:

• Manage and supervise clinical and research operations, including staff training, performance, and workload goals
• Oversee education and training programs, including scheduling, trainee onboarding, and course development
• Partner with UCLA HR and finance teams on hiring, payroll, budgets, and compliance processes
• Develop and implement strategic growth plans for clinical, research, and educational services
• Support business development and community outreach, including marketing partnerships, and new site development
• Track performance metrics, analyze program data, and prepare reports for leadership

Salary range: $105,700/yr - $234,500/yr

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, health administration, social work, or nursing (highly preferred)
• 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in Academic Medicine (preferred)
• Leadership experience in program building and development
• Demonstrated experience in budget oversight, analysis, and fund management
• Prior experience with program development and expansion (clinical, research, or educational)
• Knowledge of clinical operations and/or health program administration
• Strong experience with financial analysis, reporting, and HR-related processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to manage complex schedules
• Experience with vendor management, marketing/outreach, and networking with healthcare professionals
