Senior Structural Engineer (PE/SE) - Commercial & Industrial Projects
Join a nationally recognized structural engineering firm as a Senior Structural Engineer, where you'll lead innovative designs for Fortune 500 clients across commercial and industrial sectors. Our firm delivers over 20 million square feet of construction annually, specializing in large-scale distribution centers, Class A office buildings, and landmark facilities.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Drive structural design projects from conception through completion
- Manage complex engineering projects while ensuring code compliance and design excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and developers
- Provide expert construction support and field supervision
- Lead and mentor junior engineering staff
- Develop innovative structural solutions including Passive Energy Dissipation Systems
- BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering
- California PE or SE license (active)
- 7+ years of structural engineering experience
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, or similar structural analysis software
- Expertise in tilt-up construction and performance-based engineering
- Excellence in technical communication and project leadership
- Competitive compensation package ($107,000 - $144,000 annually)
