The Senior Desktop Sales Engineerpartners with this team to understand business owner needs, focusing on migration from Desktop toIES. This includes providing technical demonstrations of both Desktop and IES, removing salesbarriers, accelerating knowledge, addressing learning needs, and providing organizational feedbackon Desktop and IES products.

You will conduct Desktop and IES product demonstrations, manage technical validation formigrating customers, and develop customer business cases during the sales cycle. You will alsoserve as a liaison between sales, customers, and Intuit's product teams for both Desktop and IES.

The Senior Desktop Sales Engineer:

  • Is responsible for all technical, solution, and competitive aspects of the sales cycle,specifically for Desktop migrators to IES.
  • Should have experience selling both Desktop and Intuit Enterprise Suite and the ability toshowcase all technical merits of IES, with a particular focus on moving from Desktopover to IES.
  • Will own the technical engagements with our customers and prospects for Desktop, andpartner with internal teams to ensure a successful customer experience from pre to postsale.
  • Will partner with leaders and other internal partners to identify learning opportunities onall aspects of selling IES to Desktop customers.
  • Will work to monitor internal communications channels in order to provide real-timeproduct insights to the sales team regarding Desktop migrations.
  • Will take ownership of the technical relationship with our prospects to drive revenue byproactively managing and delivering successful technical engagements for customersmoving from Desktop to IES.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales and product training as needed to the Mid-Market sales teams, with astrong emphasis on processes related to successfully selling IES to Desktop customers.
  • Collaborate with both Product and Marketing to build and manage a repository of sellerfacing content, videos, and training for Desktop migrators.
  • Navigate selling processes while fostering deep understanding of key partners and theirability to deliver against the customer's needs in the buying process of moving fromDesktop to IES.
  • Drive results in key success areas, including team quota attainment, close rates andcustomer facing activities.
  • Proactively make solution recommendations to drive customer improvements usingwhat you have learned about current use cases and needs with Desktop, and how thatmaps to IES.
  • Articulate IES value propositions for the key industry focus area of responsibility with theunderstanding of Intuit's products relative to major competitors.
  • Role model Intuit's values and foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.

  • 3+ years presales or relevant experience, with a focus on IES and Desktop.
  • Professional presentation skills with clear ability to utilize tools to deliver a compellingROI for the customer.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills.
  • Strong drive for learning, especially regarding updates and new features in IES.
  • Highly driven and requires little guidance while delivering high quality work.
  • Must be willing to work in a fast paced startup environment with multiple roles, in anoftentimes ambiguous environment.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to speak to current technology trends anddemonstrate the capabilities of IES, relative to Desktop.
  • Ability to understand the entire Intuit portfolio of products and services, with a deepunderstanding of both Desktop and IES.
  • Proactive and able to self-manage in a fast paced environment.
  • Work well within a team of various stakeholders (Product Team, Sales LeadershipTeams, Product Marketing Teams) focused on Desktop and IES.
  • Proven record of collaborating and influencing in a sales team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
